The RC Laser sailboats are ready for the regatta! These 1/4 models of the full size Laser sailboat offer the best performance money can buy in model sailing. You can control both the sail and rudder with a two channel transmitter to get a pretty realistic, scale sailing experience. They're easy to assemble and disassemble for travel and you can even get different sails for different sailing conditions. Driving one is a terrific way to relax on a lazy Sunday afternoon. If competitive racing is more your style, look into the RC Laser Sailing Class Association of North America. You can find racing events around the country, and even the globe, with like minded sailors.
These boats are available in two versions: ready to sail and plug and play. Both versions are identical and include the onboard servos to control the sail and rudder. The only difference with the plug and play version is that it does not come with a transmitter and receiver. A two channel radio system is required to control the boat. Alkaline AA batteries are also needed to power the servos. A handful of batteries can give you up to six hours' worth of sailing enjoyment!
